I would like to take this opportunity to provide you with an overview of A La Carson- my personal chef business. A personal chef prepares food for you in your home. A common misconception is that only the wealthy can afford a personal chef. Differing from celebrity type private chefs, a personal chef keeps rates low by serving multiple clients. A personal chef is precisely that-your own chef who works with you to customize and personalize a service to suit your needs. I offer five services:

1. In-Home Catering: Hire me to cater your next party. I will prepare the food in your home, so that you can concentrate on preparing for the party. Parties are much more enjoyable when you can spend time with your guests while someone else prepares the food. I in-home cater for showers, luncheons, afternoon tea, brunches, engagements parties, cocktail parties, dessert parties and more.



2. Weeknight Meal Service: Save hours each week by hiring me to do your grocery shopping, meal planning and meal preparation! After an initial interview, I will routinely (monthly, bi-weekly or weekly) cook your meals for you in your home. I shop for your groceries, cook in your kitchen, package the food as you prefer, and best yet, clean up after wards!



3. Gifts: A visit from A La Carson makes a wonderful and unique gift. Give the gift of a personal chef visit to aging relatives, a new parent, newlyweds, someone who is sick-just to name a few. Or perhaps, purchase a package for yourself when expecting weekend guests. Gift certificates and gift packages are available.



4. Dinner Parties: Are you too busy to entertain? Would you like to treat a group of friends to a nice dinner in your home? Hire me to cook for your next dinner party so you can concentrate on entertaining and actually enjoy the evening! Innovative, seasonal menus are my trademark. You can choose from the Prix Fixe Menus (of already created and priced dinner parties) or you can work with me to custom design your own dinner party.



5. Cooking Classes: Do you want to learn how to cook but don't know where to start? Why not spice up your girls night and partake in a cooking class? Individual and group cooking classes are available and are priced on a case by case basis.
