About the Services The costs of the above services are based on the individual event. The total cost is determined by the cost of labor, which is $35 per hour plus the cost of food. Since food prices are not fixed and may vary, proposals are an estimate of the final cost. Additional assistants/servers for the event will be provided by Carson Price, but the client will pay them directly at the event’s conclusion. This expense of assistants/servers will also be defined and included in the estimate. Since the above services are categorized as “personal chef services”, the total cost of the party is the price of food plus labor (and possibly assistants)—period; there are no additional fees or taxes. Proposals for in-home catering from a personal chef are not based on a “per head” estimate as you might receive from a caterer who works out of a commercial kitchen. If you wish to receive a proposal/s, please contact Carson Price: chefcarson@alacarson.com or 804.928.4875. A La Carson’s services do not include rentals. Most often clients prefer to use their own platters but often rent additional items such as stemware. It is the clients’ is responsibility to rent items such as plates, stemware, etc. As part of her service, Carson Price will gladly discuss the logistics of the client’s party in order to help the client make decisions regarding the food as well as general entertaining questions. |
